The workshop offers the opportunity to discuss and debate how organisations can create inspiring and high-quality jobs through Human Resource Development strategies. It seeks to explore organisations current practices in creating real value through human capital and knowledge development and identify future areas of best practice. Job quality is a timely issue due to its potential impact on individual, firm and national well-being. Of course creating job quality is differing among persons, occupations and labour market segments; nevertheless organisations and policy makers have an impetus role in creating quality job roles across the UK. The workshop will bring together practitioners, academics and businesses to discuss this topical issues and share innovative practices.
